At this time, I will bring this topic up at a high-level. I will cover it later as an advanced topic. Board position describes the postions of the starting dealers front peg position in relation to the starting pone (non-dealer) front peg postion, the hand number, the current dealer, the number of holes left to reach 121, and the estimated number of deals remaining to reach hole 121. There are several theories (this is another advanced topic) that use these factors. These include the theory of 24, 25, 26 and 30. The basis of all of these is that in 2 successive deals (one as dealer and one as pone; you will move down the board on average, that number, 24, 25, 26, 30). Happy Pegs
