According to my stats, I have very nearly a 54% win ratio and cannot get anywhere near 2000 rating and when you click on their's, their win ratio is sometimes only around 50%. I know ratings are a somewhat dubious way of measuring performance in crib, but how do they get their ratings so high? Only the players that refuse to play anyone with lower ratings can consistently move up. The rating system is based upon the Elo system, which works well for strictly skill based games such as chess, but is misapplied to games with a large random chance factor such as cribbage.
