why do I have to install Java, what ever version, every DAMN time I log in?

There's no need to keep reinstalling Java!

First, we do not recommend to use our old Java version. For our new non-Java interface, our recommended web browsers: <a target=_blank href=http://www.google.com/chrome>Google Chrome</a> and <a target=_blank href=http://www.firefox.com>Mozilla FireFox</a>. Second, Java update offerings are controlled by an Oracle plugin that is installed on your system. If you insist on using the <a target=_blank href=http://www.gamecolony.com/help_java.shtml#1BBB>old Java</a> interface, please don't keep reinstalling each unnecessary version of Java. Instead, go to Control Panel -> Java, select 'Update' tab and un-check the box 'Check for Updates Automatically' & select OK.
