PLAYER SPORTMANSHIP! Posted by jonwil (VIP) Jun 24 2013 4:44PM I AM 83 & I LEARNED CRIBBAGE SOME 65 YEARS AGO. IT WAS CONSIDERED A "GENTLEMEN'S GAME". WE DID NOT EVEN CUT FOR EACH HAND. SOME PLAYERS OFTEN MAKE RUDE REMARKS WHEN LOSING & ONE IN PARTICULAR MAKES COMMENTS ABOUT RULES, EVEN WHEN HERE IS NO REASON TO DO SO. I GOT SO FRUSTRATED AT ONE PLAYER THAT I HAD TO TAKE SOME TIME OFF TO COOL DOWN. I WOULD PREFER PLAYING THOSE WHO NEVER TALKS OR GREETS YOU, THEN SOME OF THOSE WHO TAKE THE FUN OUT OF PLAYING. CRIBBAGE SHOULD BE ENJOYABLE "WIN OR LOSE". TY, JONWIL sportsmanship Posted by tenuvuz (VIP) Jun 25 2013 8:42AM I couldnt agree more!! On the other hand....... Posted by stageinharmony (VIP) Jun 25 2013 10:40AM You are so right. I , for one, can't bear rude people. However it has been my great pleasure to come across many players here, who I very much enjoy playing, yourself and Tenuvus being 2 of them. Do your best to rise above them.
