Real Cribbage Tourns

Ok, the ONLY thing lacking from GC is the ability to do a real tournament. Not necessarily a 22 vs. 22 opponents one, but a 5, 7 or 9 game one against different folks and then talley the scores (skunks count as 3) would be great. I know that is probably asking a lot, but you TD's asked what was missing and that's the only thing I can think of. Peace.

I feel that the present format, bracketed play, is a "Real Tournament" format. JethroTull is suggesting another tournament format. This would be nice.

"Real"

Moojus is correct and I did not mean to imply that the tournaments were less than 'real'. When I said real, what I meant was real in the sense of dealing cards counting score etc. ACC real. In those tournaments, skunks count for more (3 pts instead of 2) and your spread points can count as well. In the current format, you either win or lose. Nothing is gained by skunking an opponent and there is no difference between beating someone by 1 pt or 90 pts. I just thought that we might get a few more players playing who are used to 'real' format. I'm talking about a 3 hour tournament here, for some big tix. Anyway, just a thought. Peace.
