first of all 61 pt game is too short!! and since i don't play live crib anymore, the compter has spoiled me by doing all the counting LOL. I am sure tho that u will have some players who will like it. thx, kymb

Love the manual counting but hate 61 games. Changes the whole game in my opinion. I know it would be hard to do a 121 de, but i would prefer it.

Will it be a 61 point 6-card or 5-card. The 6 card version gives the starting dealer an 11 point advantage! If your 5-card is the standard 5-card version and the starting non-dealer(pone) is awarded 3 points, then it is fair. It has been a couple of years since I played 61 point 5-card game here so I do not remember is the starting non-dealer is given 3 points. As far as manual counting goes, I prefer it. One of the skills in cribbage is accurate counting. Manual scoring improves your cribbage ability and alertness during the game.
