how many is the maximum ammount of points that can be pegged on one hand Posted by shawwin (VIP) Jun 25 2008 6:38AM Hi all we all know that the highest hand is 29 & the lowest is 0.But what is the most that can be pegged?I had the luck of pegging 24 points & my hand value was only two.The oppositions hand value was only two also(not inclding turnup) Can you work out what each hand had?I will give an answer next week?(The opponent pegged ten on same hand?) Shawwin JUST ASK JEEVES...HE KNOWS EVERYTHING LOL Posted by KymB (VIP) Jun 26 2008 12:18AM The most points that can be pegged by playing one card is 15, by completing a double pair royal on the last card and making the count 15: 12 for double pair royal, 2 for the 15, and 1 for the last card. For this to happen in a two-player game, the dealer must have two ten-value cards and two 2s, and the non-dealer must have one ten-value card and 722. The play must go: 10-10-10-go; 7-2-2-2-2. DOES THIS ANSW THE Q YOUR FRIEND, KIM B most 1 can peg during the lay down Posted by denver_england (VIP) Jun 27 2008 5:54PM Both hands must have 2-5 and 2-7. Ajack must be cut for 2 lay down a 7 the a 7 for 2 then a 7 for 6 then a 7 for 12 plus a go for 1. lay down a 5 then a 5 for 2 then a 5 for 6 plus 2 for the 15 then a 5 for 12 plus 1 for the last card. dealer gets a total of 34 pegs and the opp. gets a total of 14. how many is the maximum ammount of points that can be pegged on one hand Posted by shawwin (VIP) Jun 27 2008 7:02PM Hi Denver i think your answer should be 32points.On my proginal query I actually made 25points both hands had a value of 2 points we are not counting turn up at all what did we have? I think Posted by KymB (VIP) Jun 27 2008 11:35PM my response was the best..........everyone else ....was getting too tech.........and not making sense LOL high pegging Posted by gjamies1 (VIP) Jul 9 2008 7:30AM Playing with 5 cards not the normal 6 card game, it is possible to peg 20, 14 coming from the last card. The dealer holds three sixes and you oponent holds a six and two sevens. He leads a seven and you naturally put a six down. he pairs the six totalling 19 and you play your second six, third in all for 6 points making 25. He has a seven left and cannot go you play your last 6 making it 31 for 14 plus the other 6 equals 20. That is with only three cards not 4. Max Points Pone and Dealer Posted by Moojus (VIP) Jul 28 2008 9:33PM In a 2-person game, non-dealer can theoretically score the first 18 points on a deal: the first 7 cards played are in the order 2,A,3,5,4,7,6, and dealer's last card is 4 or larger for "go". Non-dealer scores for runs of 3, 5, and 7, plus 2 for fifteen and one for "go". In a 2-person game, dealer can score the first 26 points. Dealer holds 4,4,4,7, non-dealer holds 4,8,10,K, and the starter is a jack. The sequence of play is 8, 7, 4, 4, "go", 4, "go", 4; K, 10. Dealer scores 2 for his heels, 2 for fifteen, 2 for pair, 6 for pair royal, 12 for double pair royal, and 2 for 31; non-dealer then scores 1 for last. Highest score for pegging Posted by Smithy29 Dec 7 2008 6:57PM I know of at least one way to score 24, your opponent has a hand of 2, 2, 4 & 5. Your hand is A, 2, 2 & 3. Opposition must play first as follows: 2 2 4 5 (Opp pegs, 6 and 4) 2 2 3 A (u peg 2, 12, 3, 5 and 1 for last) Howzat?? Do i go to the top of the class lol Highest score for pegging Posted by Smithy29 Dec 7 2008 7:04PM I know of at least two ways to score 24, your opponent has a hand of 2, 2, 4 & 5.
