LAPTOP REPAIR Posted by WILKIEBOBS (VIP) Sep 28 2006 6:26PM in February webmaster was kind enough to respond to my cry for help in asking if anybody had experience of laptop repairs.He gave me words of encouragement which set me off on a journey of discovery and enlightenment. After lots of research I am pleased to announce that I succeeded in removing the inverter and backlight,replacing them with new ones and I now have a fully functional laptop again. Its not hard to remove viruses and other things....on thing I learned is to restore your system. I got a viruse and that is what I did Laptop Repair Posted by WILKIEBOBS (VIP) Oct 9 2006 5:59AM Thanks Texasrose but it was more than a virus,it was a breakdown, a dead computer which needed physical repair but I could not find a computer engineer locally who would touch laptops.Hence my having to go it alone unless I paid exhorbitant prices.In all it only cost me approx £45 ( $84)plus a great deal of time which probably kept me out of mischief!!!
