61-Point/5 Card Tournaments Posted by PV544_62 (TD) Aug 22 2006 9:33AM Recently several folks made negative comments about the holding of 61-Point/5-Card Cribbage. I hold this format because I enjoy this version and there are others who enjoy this version. Two years ago, ago a contigent of cribbage players from the UK came across the pond and played in the American Cribbage Congress' Grans National that was held in Atlanta. In their honor, one of the events was a 61-Point/5 Card Tournament. Though I was soundly thrashed, I enjoyed the game. I welcome everyone to try all the variations of the game. You might find that you enjoy the variations like I do. Good Luck to All! PV544 going to give it a try Posted by utahma (TD) Aug 22 2006 9:45AM I haven't yet tried this format, but may just have to give it a whirl now :) I think that if players don't like to play a certain game thats fine, but to each his/her own :) We at Game Colony respect all players and I for one look forward to learning new variations of the game I have come to love - cribbage :) Thanks for your input PV, and I may just join u next time I see u in main hall - for a good thrashing myself, I'm sure lol. |
