Frank? look at your game rating. I.E. 1580 or 1756.....that is a rated game, if you play someone with a 1400 rating and lose or win, goes up or down. As good as you are and as long as you've played here, you should know that.

thats about the size of it

Yep, that's about the size of that - but don't even worry about not knowing hon. As long as I've been here, and DIRECTING tourneys, I STILL don't understand all the ladder details. These things we learn over time I guess.......if we use em. Don't think I'll ever quite get the ladder stuff, don't really have time to worry about my rank and such. But don't ever be afraid to ask if you don't know (or forget - that happens to some of us as we get OLDER haha) :) Luv u - see u at the tourneys :) Christy aka utahma

All Things Unknown are Good Questions

If we were all born with the knowledge to have all the answers, then there would be no need to ask questions. However, since that is not the case, asking questions to acquire knowledge and educate ourselves, no matter what the age, should be encouraged and not dismissed with statements such as "you should know that". All questions are good questions, and I think that imparting knowledge without editorial comments encourages learning. Who am I to judge who should know what. Very good question Fraola. Keep asking.

who are you to judge what I type? Frank knew I was kidding. Not that his was a bad question, but contrary to popular belief, there are such things as dumb questions. I.E. if I am mowing the lawn and someone was to ask me "what are you doing?"

Ratings mean nothing. It's all about tix. If you want to play for ratings go to yahoo. All you get with a 2100 rating and a cup of tea is a cup of tea.
