Fast games/Slow games. Posted by stageinharmony (VIP) Jan 6 2012 3:35PM Many things can affect the speed of a game. Some people's computers are a bit slow, or the players themselves can take longer to respond. However many games can take longer than normal because of strategies. I just played (and lost) a very enjoyable tourney game which had both players on the edge of their seats. The enjoyment was somewhat marred by the chat about 'slow games' in the tourney room. Perhaps we could all be a little more considerate in our public messages. |
