challenges Posted by 1canman_ Jul 27 2009 11:36PM I am fairly new to this site, and for the most part I have really enjoyed playing here. One thing I don't understand (which really does not have to do with the actual site), is the number of people that challenge and they haven't even asked for a game. I have been in the lobby numerous times with players and they never asked for a game. They leave the lobby and go challenge me. It's almost like some people just want to try to make you drop 2 rungs. Why not ask me to play when we are both on instead of leaving to challenge? There's one player that has never ever asked me for a game in the lobby, but he/she challenges every time; then waits until the last day of the challenge to ever show up to play a game. You know when this person challenges then you will not see them for 6 days. There's also those people that play you then immediately go challenge you. If you ask me, then that is not fair to other people that want to challenge. I just thought I would get this off of my chest about the people that challenge and don't ask for a game first. I understand when someone asks me for a game in the lobby but I can't play at the moment, so they go challenge me. That's what I think a "challenge" is for, or if a player at the top is never on to play then challenge them so you can get a game in. Some people just take advantage of the challenge button. You see some names on there everyday with a challenge against someone. They play one challenged player then move on to challenge another. I think some people are "challenge" happy! :) Most of the people that challenge me are people that I play every day or so. BUT, if they go one day without a game then they are off to challenge. I have really enjoyed playing on this site and most of the people on here are very polite. Thanks for letting me vent! |
