The only players I refuse to play are players who do exactly what you've stated above--- When I am ahead of them on the ladder, they ask and ask for games and I play them--- BUT when those same players get ahead of me on the ladder they REFUSE to play me. My remedy is to LET THOSE PLAYERS KNOW that if I do them the COURTESY of playing them regardless of where I am on the ladder, then I EXPECT the same courtesy returned. If I don't get that courtesy, then I just don't play them any more. The bottom line is this.......... A TRUE CHAMPION IS NOT AFRAID TO FACE ALL COMPETITORS. I TRY to play like a true champion. I have played all day many times when I am in one of the top positions, but I get mostly excuses or fast exits when I am not in top ten. There are only a few players that you can count on to play all the time. I DO NOT PLAY 2 CANASTA SO MY SOURCES ARE LIMITED. why? I have NEVER gone down once in rank reduction because of refusal to play game. |
