Giving New Players a Chance---BlueSun Posted by BlueSun (VIP) Aug 9 2007 10:59PM Canasta Players: Many of the top players in canasta originally could not get any of the top players to play them---except me. Many times players have told me that I am one of the FEW top canasta players who will give lower ranked players a chance to play against a player in the top twenty. To those canasta players who are often in the top twenty, I CHALLENGE you to play lower ranked players and give them a chance to climb the ladder just as I played MANY OF YOU and gave you a chance. I KNOW for a fact that many of the top players simply IGNORE lower ranked players frequently even when the player's rating is as high as their own. Let's be GOOD SPORTS and give EVERYONE a chance. Unless, of course, you are afraid of the competition. I'm NOT. How about you?
