display ladder rating

hey people, how are you all?
I was just thinking how it may be a good idea to display a players ladder rating in the bottom left window of the games room next to a players rating.

I think this would be a useful extra, as it is often difficult to know where your opponent is ranked on the ladder. And as we all know, rating isn't everything.

So how bout it GC? Is this a possibility?

Just double click on the players name, and presto.......all the info you are looking for is there..

Yes, but...

Thx for the reply. But two things...

Firstly, that rating is only updated when you or the other player logs in.

And secondly, if you are looking for a player who has a certain rating, it can be time consuming and annoying to have to double click on every player in turn. Would you not agree?

More thoughts people?

Fire.

I have to agree with FOXX that would be a great idea.It would help others that want to climb the ladder a chance to find them faster then double clicking ev'ry name in the main to find a person above you in the ladder.

Stephanie

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
