The POOL bonus tourney for this month is on the calendar and sign-up is now open! Everyone is welcome to play.

ENTRY FEE: 1 Ticket
FORMAT: 2PT 9BALL
DATE: SEPTEMBER 29TH
TIME: 100P.M. GameColony time.
BONUS PRIZE: 25 Tickets

This tournament will payout the regular tournament payout in addition to 25 Tickets added by GameColony. The more to play the better the total payout will be. So please plan to join us on the 29th at 100 for lots
of fun, some great games, ladder stats and a chance to win a very nice prize.

Ok folks.. how much interest is there in alternating the bonus tournaments between
late afternoon (web-time) and evening ?
If there are those who are interested we will do them next month earlier.

Hey MAB, could you psot a new message in the forum mentioning the possibility of hosting the bonus tourney at a different time of day next month so that those outside the US are more likely to be able to play.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
