Hi people.
As it is month end, I feel it is necessary to post this message. I would like to apologise to those who have requested a ladder game against me this month, which I have had to refuse.
I have been banned from playing ladder games this month, and forcibly removed from the top 10 on the ladder, because I was stupid enough to break the rules Game Colony have set to ensure fair play for all. I am being punished specifically for throwing and having ladder games thrown to me.
This should serve as an example to all, showing that cheating get you nowhere and that those found doing so WILL be punished accordingly.
I know I will not make the same mistake again. Lets hope no-one else does either. Thank you to GC and all the players. I look forward to resuming my ladder campaign from August 1st (after 12pm EST) and welcome all challenges!

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
