I just want to let you all know. That it would be nice of you if you could give the other player you are playing a little more time if they lose their connection before you just take the win away from them . I always give players atleast 10 minutes when they lose their connection,to give them a chance to get back. I think it is only fair to wait and try to win the game instead of taking something someone else as earned. so can we please think about the other player too instead of ourselves and have fun. We are all here to have fun.
It's all about Respect and Courtesy!

HEY NOW! The above POSTING is the way you all should feel too! ANOTHER THING. . . IF YOU ARE A RESPECTABLE PLAYER THEN YOU SHOULD CLICK ON 'Abort Game' instead of 'Take a Win'! ESPECIALLY if you do not choose to wait for the player to re-connect!
Play On!

I agree. I have always waited the 10 mins b4 taking a win. And as to if I abort or not depends on the opponent. If they're friendly and not rude, I might do that.
Treat a player as they come...

Hey, Like you guys, I am all for being friendly, courteous, etc. And as for taking a win, if a player was disconnected, I would abort the game (especially if I knew the player). But there are always some players who deliberately run their time down - just to annoy you or to make a point. Those are the people I will happily take a win against. Don't get me wrong, I am not a horrible player, but it proves my point over theirs. Play and treat fellow players properly, or lose. The same goes for being rude, etc. If someone is nice and friendly, you're always willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Happy gaming people. the foXx.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
