I tried to write a response to this yesterday. The words would just not (and still do not) come. I think you all know my feelings about those who commit actions for the sole purpose of doing harm to others.
At 5 0AM yesterday morning I was awakened by the news report of this attack. It was hard to separate the feelings of deep sadness and concern from those of anger. What a senseless and cowardly act! Back and forth my mind wandered from the twin towers in New York to the transit systems in London. These victims were working or making an attempt to get to their jobs. “What is it those people hate so much; our governments, our religions, our prosperity?” No, I don’t think so. It is our freedom which they despise and are making an effort to destroy. They lost before they even began.
The British have been through far worse. There was a day when they were bombed almost daily as the nazis were also demonstrating their extreme hatred for a talented, intelligent and FREE people. They will come through this tragedy with even more resolve and a stronger independence.
I was in London for the funeral of Diana. I have witnessed the resolve and the unity of these people in difficult times and can assure you they are not weak, nor afraid. They have fought shoulder to shoulder with American men and women in every conflict since our independence and continue to be our allies in cooperation and in peace.
On behalf of GameColony, the Webmasters and the Admin team I extend my deepest sympathy to those who have been and who will be affected by this great loss. Personally I want to thank each of those among the players and the TD team who made a point to contact someone just to say “Hey.. I’m ok over here”. We care about our “folks” and we appreciated your taking the time to let us hear from you.
As an American I can guarantee you British…….we will stand with you in the final defeat of those who despise our freedom and who would have us all in bondage as are they in bondage!

For expressing the thoughts that have been going through my head since I first heard of this senseless act of terrorism.
Like you, at first I couldn't find the words, but your post says it all. Thank you!

The act in Britain is another example of idiots congratualting themselves after they commit suicide and kill others. Brainless for the world to see! Sympathies to the British and all countries who have to deal with these suicidal idiots.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
