Privacy Please!

I've been bombarded with many players who come on the table to watch then distract you by talking to you and others watching, sometimes they taunt you and you cant focus. Hows about a privacy or lock out box that we can check off if we want privacy when playing? Just like when we are playing for tickets? Ty!

Watchers can be distracting

I have to agree with BillyTheKid5 on this one. It would be good to be able to make a table private if so desired. Or perhaps the ability to banish individuals who are causing an unwelcome distraction, as opposed those who are quietly watching.

Although, another solution to unwelcome comments BillyTheKid5, would be to use the mute function, to stop the messages of individual players (type /m PLAYER_NAME) - well, something like that.

Look in the preference box to your right, just above the leave table/ help/ , click it, and a drop down box will give you the option to disallow chat while playing.....now i dont know if this will also apply to watchers, but it's worth a try....

There should be a privacy check off box!

Sounds like a good idea to me! Perhaps 'on invitation only' would be appropriate, so that other players cannot be allowed to 'wait for their chance at a ladder game' disrupting the current game. Some common courtesy would be appreciated, in the meantime!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
