What is it about Pool?

Most players (some) don't register, but you can tell they have'd played before. I've played every game on here, but since the advent of pool have never seen this type of 'play' in any game on G/C. It is annoying when I would like to advance my ladder (not that I am that good) to know that the other player is registered. And ***&&&&#### show some respect players, how many times has it been said, at least type hi, takes .08 seconds

You know I just started in this pool room, but hey we all have to start sometime. 3 out of 4 players are so rude. Don't they know it takes some players (like myself) to line up the ball and put proper english on it too. During all this they keep hitting the Please Move over and over again. Then to top it all off I think most of them are the sorest losers. I certainly agree with Texasrose about showing some respect, not here will you get it. Say hi or GL. Oh yeah by the way that means Good Luck. Well GL all you sore losers, play and have some fun or go to the bar! This is Game Colony where alot of us come to play for fun and yes respect for the new and old players alike. Remember we all started somewhere.

How do you hit 'Please Move!'
I was wondering, I have never fiqured out how players can get that to come up w/o typing it!
I have created a table in Pool with a 2 minute, per turn/shot, option and 20 seconds into my turn, 'Please Move!' along with Sound effect popped up twice.
Really how is it possible?
Also to all, keep in mind that some players are from other countries other than yours, some may not read or speak english, let alone type it. Not to put people down but, i reside int he USA, and there sure are alot of people that can't read, write, speak English Either, and they were born and raised here in the USA.
I am not trying to justify the actions of the alledged Rude or Unpolite players that one may encounter or experience. I am just saying there maybe a reason for it.
When I play BackGammon, Players will Ban you because of your Low Rating, or they will Bail from the table and create a new one, and my favorite: 'The Silent/No Action Treatment', they will not do a thing, they will sit there while you keep clicking on start and no matter how much you say to them in chat, they will not respond nor will they start the game.
Plenty of Other Players, just find ones that you can enjoy playing and network them all together and HAVE A BLAST!

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
