There was a bug fix applied to pool today regarding server-initiated corrections in ball positions.
However, to corrrect visual errors the players would need to close / reopen all of their browser windows and, possibly, clear the cache.

To clear Java cache:
* you can refresh the cache of your browser by selecting the browser's menu : Tools/Internet Options. Here select 'Delete Files' & in the resulting window put a check for 'delete all offline content' & press OK

*
1. Go to Control Panel. (Click on the Window's Start button, select Settings/Control Panel)

2. See if you have Java Plug-In icon in your Control Panel -- it is a picture of a coffee cup.

3. If you do, please double click on the Java Plug-In icon

4. In the resulting window select Cache tab

5. Click Clear button

Microsoft Java.

It's a bit trickier to install then Sun Java www.gamecolony.com/msjava.shtml

Sun Java is updated very frequently (sometimes weekly), but still has multiple 'issues' and is slower & less stable than Microsoft Java.

(If you are technically inclined: the thread management functionality in Sun Java is much worse than in Microsoft Java which makes Sun Java a far less desirable choice for games for now)

Although installation of new versions of Sun Java is easiest
( http://sun.com/getjava ), it is a bit trickier to install a better/faster Microsoft Java. The full procedure of installing Microsoft Java is described here: http://www.gamecolony.com/msjava.shtml

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
