CAN ANYONE TELL ME OR EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT LADDERS IS ALL ABOUT.I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHATS THE BEST WAY TO UP MY RANK.THNX

The best way to address such inquiries is NOT Forum but Contact Us. Forum is not constantly monitored for players' inquiries.
If you select a 'Ladder' table option or join a table set for Ladder ('L'), the game will count as Ladder game.
Ladder is a whole NEW way to compete with other players on this site.
For Example: every 1st of the month (starting October 1, 2003) Top 10 Ladder players receive prizes in Bonus $Tickets.
For your Ladder you can see the results/ladder stats, etc. by selecting a Ladder blue button [bottommost button on the left your room listings page]

FIRST OF ALL I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR RESPONED AND SECOND OF ALL YOU SAID CONTACT 'US' WHO IS 'US' AND THIRD OF ALL 'YOU' SHOULD HAVE THE 'FULL LADDER RULES AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE WITH OUT HAVING TO ASK AND FOURTH I TRIED TALKING TO SOME OF THE (TD) AND NO ONE WOULD ANSWER ME.MAYBE YOU CAN TELL ME WHERE TO CONTACT 'US' AT FOR FUTURE REFERENCES.ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU.

Ladder rules are available for all to see in the Ladder area (once you select 'Ladder' link in every game)
When you get to the Ladder page for Canasta ( via Ladder link or HERE )
please click on the link 'Rules'
'Contact Us' is a blue button located on the left-hand vertical bar at www.gamecolony.com & most other pages.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
