HI CANASTANATOR

As you know, Canasta is fairly new for GameColony, and I promise you there will be more and more tourneys offered soon. We're getting blues in now, which we've needed for successful tourneys of course.

We'll put your request on high priority though, and get some small ticket tourneys going in the evening! We're happy you chose GameColony for your Canasta pleasure...isn't it GREAT? Best online Canasta I've ever played...WTG webs!

Hi Canastanator...per your request I've put up an 80 pm Canasta tourney for tonight. 4000 pts wild card canasta allowed and red three freeze. Hope to see you there!

I know with the holiday coming up everyone is busy but thought I'd try.

Thx for the tourney Peg, sorry!

Just wanted to post a note in support of all us newbies to Canasta. I was in a tournament last night and continued to be so harassed by my opponent on speeding up I lost all concentration on what I was doing. Is there a harassment rule ? A way to save the text and show the TD ? I really do not think I was moving that slow, I had plenty of time left each turn, but may have been lagging somewhat. I had noticed this person talking about how they had played all their life ... blah blah blah, but interestingly enough they only beat me by a small margin. I think I could have done better if I hadn't had to put up with a scrolling screen of... Play faster, play faster... etc.. Anyway just wondered if this could be monitored to some degree. Thanks. Dots

Missed you Canastanator

But when you have kids your time is never really your own is it? I know you would have been there if you could, and hope you can make the next one.

Kids grow up way too fast so enjoy them.

I am thankful for....

Thx Peg, and Dynomite! Finally got to one, and won it! woohoo! Nice turnout of over 10 people, hope to see more soon!

At thanksgiving, we should all say what we are thankful for, I am thankful for the TD's, it is time spent well in my opinion! I really appreciate it!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
