It looks like when you have just finished your game you received an invitation. While the invitation screen was in focus, you have pressed 'Enter' key. A default action occurred - agreement to enter the table created by a player who was inviting you. The default behavior of Enter depends on what window is in focus, however briefly. You can get to the table but starting the game requires you to press Start button. Pressing Enter key another time should not result in starting the game. You may have inadvertently clicked Start button...

Actually, I have wound up at a table when I was typing in this room. Apparently, when an invite comes up, it doesn't take much to force you to it. Kind of funny, it just almost happened. I was typing, an invite screen came up, my curser went away. Had I not noticed I would have been there>

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
