Where and when do you sign up ?
how to sign up for FREE tourney, etc.

1. On iPhone & Android devices:
our Cribbage app lists upcoming tournaments via Menu->Tournaments.
The maximum of 4 pending tournaments is listed on top in bold lettering.
A tournament will show up a few hours before it's due. (It is faster to sign up on the desktop - see below!)
Once the tourney is listed, you can select it, see its list of participants and, (on iPhone) on the bottom, use 'Sign Up'.
2. If you use a web browser on a desktop:
Login at GameColony.com and select Cribbage.
You will find the more tournaments 'button'on the tournaments page directly above the 4 tournaments that are soonest to be played. Click the down arrow on that and you will see many more tournaments, pending and completed.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
