Another True Story

As some of you may know, I work in a movie theater box office. One day I lost my balance and fell behind the counter and on the way down I hit a handle right above my right eye. As you may image I got a hugh black eye. So after I had benn asked by customers mamy times, "What happened to your eye?" I just waited untill my boss was standing right behind me amd when someone asked me what happened I said " I asked my boss for a raise! He has anger management issues." Good thing he thought it was funny.
It does'nt stop there. Time passes and I get a workmans comp form to fill out about my black eye. Now, I could tell them I just lost my balance and fell but what's the fun it that. If I have to fill out a stupid form why not make it worth my will. How does this sound? I was at work. I was drunk. I dropped my crack pipe and when I bent over to pick it up I lost my balace and you know the rest. Now, that last part is not true but just think of the response that would get.... Hmm

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
